A Datastrip handheld fingerprint
smart card reader has received FIPS 201 approval for use in federal
HSPD-12 employee ID programs. Each DSVII device includes a built-in
fingerprint sensor for matching a live fingerprint to a biometric
template, plus a contact/contactless smart card reader that can read
documents such as the Common Access Card, Transportation Worker ID
Cards and emergency responder credentials.
