Photo ID
cameras capture the image that is sent to
your card printer. There are several methods
you can use to capture an image, including
digital photo ID cameras and web photo ID
cameras. TTI carries cameras by industry
leaders Canon, Valcam and Logitech.
Digital photo ID cameras (e.g., Canon A620)
are simple to operate, provide outstanding
image quality and are relatively
inexpensive. They now support Live Image
Capture. Web cams (e.g., Logitech QuickCam
Pro 5000) are simple to operate, but must be
tethered to a PC and generally lack a flash.
VALCam cameras are not as portable, but can
yield excellent image quality and fast
refresh rates.
